My electric gate was opening but would not close, I realised that when I blocked the IR beam there was no longer a faint "click" from the receiver, which indicated to me the internal relay had failed. Rather than try to replace the relay (a very fiddly job) I just bought this. Four screws later and all is well, my gate closes normally, and my wife is happy (which in itself is worth 10 times the money I paid :-) ).The provided English instructions are terrible (obviously translated, and utterly unintelligible) but it's not that complicated - on the receiver you have four wires: power, GND, one common, one output, while the sender has just power and GND. They're all clearly marked on the circuit board, so you can just discard the instructions anyway.Be aware that (unlike some) you can't have one output for NC (Normally-Closed) and one for NO (Normally Open) - there is one output line and a jumper on the receiver that allows you to select between NC and NO.
