We had a TV with a LAN port (ie where you normal internet wire goes into) but the router was in another part of the house and we did not want to run a cable to the TV from the router. This device allows you to receive a wireless signal - in this case to a TV which could then receive Netflix etc. You will need a USB port on the TV (or whatever is received the signal) as the device also has a USB cable coming from it that when powers it when plugged into the USB port.The device needs to be connected first to a computer and configured with your wifi password. Reset the device to check it has worked, and then you can unplug and plug into the TV or whatever is going to receive the signal.Set up was easy, and the device works fine. The instructions are in microdot so you might need a magnifying glass.

Me ha gustado todo salvo la interfaz de configuración, que es un poco confusa, obtusa y lenta. Por lo demás cumple su cometido perfectamente. Lo tengo conectado a una pi2 (sin WiFi) por ethernet y éste aparato lo que hace es conectarse a mi router de manera inalambrica y proporcionar acceso tanto a la red como a Internet por la pata cableada.También lo he probado al revés y funciona perfectamente. Apenas consume nada, lo puedo usar con una powerbank de 20k y dura muchas horas (puede que días).Muy útil para dispositivos que tienen ethernet y no WiFi.

Bridge acheté pour brancher sur un lecteur Zappiti qui n'arrivait pas à se connecter au wifi sur une freebox pop malgré toutes les manipulations effectuées.Configuré en 5 minutes sur le PC pour le mettre en mode bridge et pas en mode répétiteur, puis branchement sur le lecteur Zappiti avec le port RJ45 pour la connexion internet et la prise USB pour l'alimentation électrique.Tout fonctionne parfaitement désormais.Un produit efficace à coût modéré, ça vaut bien 5 étoiles.

Having made many attempts at getting a Panasonic, non-wifi TV connected to our domestic LAN, I bought this inexpensive device without any real hope of it achieving my goal.As my TV has an Ethernet port, I needed to set the VONETS device to act as a bridge. This is a process I made a mess of several times. The odd thing about doing this was that after each attempt, the PC I was using to configure the device would no longer talk to it. Out of desperation I eventually used my iPad to configure it, and that worked like a dream.After the battle of configuration was complete, I plugged the device into my TV without any real hope - and found it out-performed every other option I had ever tried. This had included Wi-Fi adapters, extenders, bridges, and even a small switch connecting to another PC.So, other than the configuration problems I had, I can really recommend this little device. As a bridge for my TV, it dangles down the back of it and simply works.
