It makes the front wheel a bit harder to touch flushly, but it's minor and how much it improves the grip of the camera is worth it to learn to turn wheel with point of thumb.

I ordered this for my sony a7c and it fits it perfectly. I can still access the dial wheel with this attached. Make sure that you do not order this for the a7cii or other models as this is made specifically for the regular a7c. I do find this makes the camera look vintage and also makes it easier to hold the camera. Mine had the slightest amount of movement when on the shoe. I cut a small piece of thicker photo paper and placed it under this. It made it a bit of a tighter fit and took away the slight left to right play. This is also designed well as it does not touch the pins in the back of the cameras flash shoe. I highly recommend.
