This cape was purchased as a gift for my disabled mother to use in very bad weather while using her mobility scooter,On opening the well packaged cape, she noticed how light it weighed, and the thick fabric type material on top with the plastic layer underneath,Upon giving the cape a trial ‘dry’ run indoors to find how it felt and fitted over the scooter, my mother was very pleasantly impressed with how cosy it was to wear, especially with the clear capped head cover, and with how well it covered the scooter completely from the back right around to the front, covering her hands and handlebars on the mobility scooter, noticing that it also covered the area where her shopping would go.The bright pink colour was also mentioned as it made her feel like she would be more easily noticed while using her scooter wearing the cape, rather than having a dark coloured one.Her first use in ferocious wind and rain which was unavoidable as it was for a very important appointment did not disappoint in any way, the cape not only kept her totally dry, but was effective in keeping the cold wind from chilling her too,Her words to me were, and I quote ‘it’s the best present anybody could have bought me’My mother has no idea of how much I paid for the cape, but she is under the impression that I paid over double what it actually cost me.Overall a fantastic product for an even more fantastic price, with very prompt and reliable delivery, definitely a five star buy and 10/10

Not tried it yet outside.Looks ok tried it on inside and covers me fine...have to see yet what it's like outside when I go out on my scooter.

I absolutely LOVE my cover. I bought it to use with either my wheelchair or mobility scooter. The color means that I can be seen. Usually, covers are dark colours so people on foot tend to ignore you, bump into you, bash bags into you etc. This gorgeous hot pink however, caused many a smiling face, quite a few comments and enquiries as to where it came from.I'm a size 16(ish) and it fit with plenty of room. The cover is totally waterproof, it poured down, hubby got wet, I didn't lol. The hood is a bit big, but most hats/hoods are. The clear visor is fab. My only tip would be to make sure you're wearing long sleeves as it can be a bit sweaty as it retains body heat.Absolutely 💯 love it.
