We use this display, together with a Votronic MPPT controller in our 2017 Bailey Advance motorhome. It is a neat unit, plug and play, very easy to install and use. The default reading shows the charge in amperes actually being sent to the battery from the Votronic solar controller rather than the current being produced by the solar panel (not the same thing) and so it will usually read zero if the battery is being charged by mains electricity. Other readings available are watts, voltage, accumulative amps and accumulative watts. Please note that this system does not show current usage from the battery to run your 12 or 24 volt volt electrical items, that is not it's purpose, your normal control panel will normally show this information. The accumulative settings can be reset to zero when required, so for example, you can view how much charge your battery has taken from solar energy over a 24 hour period. It is very easy after a few days experience of using the product to understand how different weather and electricity usage within the van, affect the charging regime. This combination replaced the cheaper solar controller system fitted by my dealer when I purchased the motorhome and noticeably charges the battery quicker in the poor UK weather. My only negative comment is the price, Votronic equipment is expensive but you get what you pay for.
