VOUNOT Kas, foliekas, winterbestendig, tomatenhuis, folietunnel, 3 x 2 x 2 m, 6 m²

The structure is very lightweight, you have to fixate it very well or it will blow away very easily. We used a wooden frame for this and added extra arcs made of plastic electrical conduit. So far so good and the greenhouse functioned nicely the first summer. The next summer the horror part happened: I suddenly noticed a shimmer on the floor of my greenhouse. Turned out the clear plastic was coming apart, littering my greenhouse floor and the area around it with tiny 1x1 cm pieces of plastic. Apparently the plastic is not UV resistant at all. Of the greenhouse’s upper part only the green netting “reinforcement” was left. We had a horrible time removing the plastic cover because it was like it was raining clear plastic. The pieces are so small that it is almost impossible to remove them from the garden. I have a second tunnel like this on my allotment garden with the same problem. Still have to make upthe courage to take that one down. Definitely NOT recommended.

Het opzetten van deze kas is makkelijk maar de kwaliteit van het plastic is zeer slecht. Na 1 seizoen is het plastic aan het verbrokkelen met als gevolg dat mijn hele tuin nu vol microplastic ligt. Overal kleine stukjes op de grond, en de kas is nu onbruikbaar aangezien het zeil compleet geperforeerd is. Ik moet nu mijn tuin afgraven om deze rommel te verwijderen!

De kas is eenvoudig op te zetten, stevig en mooi ruim.Helaas is de folie al na een jaar aan het vergaan en uit elkaar aan het vallen. Absoluut niet weer en winter bestendig dus.

After setting up and using the greenhouse for a bit over half a year now, the foil just disintegrates in between of the reinforcement. This makes the greenhouse leak and not being able to use it efficiently anylonger.This should not happen with such a product in 6 months.

Nou was te leuk om m waar te zijnwinter is het niet maar 1 z-zw wind en der is niets meer van over alles stuk en weg gewaaid ondanks de extra spanbanden. En deze word verkocht als winter bestendig nou echt niet dus.

La mia zona è parecchio ventosa perchè casa mia si affaccia in una vallata e avevo il terrore che la serra volasse via subito, visto il prezzo... invece no! Ha resistito addirittura al vento della scorsa settimana che è stato particolarmente forte! Abbiamo solo avuto l'accortezza di mettere alcuni picchetti per fissarla a terra, ricoprire di terra lo scheletro, interrandola un pochino, e fare la stessa cosa con il telo plastico. Sulla parte davanti invece, dove c'è l'apertura, non si può interrare ovviamente per poter entrare, quindi ho fermato il telo a terra con tre pietre abbastanza pesanti da non essere spostate dal vento, e ho risolto. Sono piacevolmente sorpresa, l'ho già messa all'opera :) Mi piace anche che abbia le finestrelle di ventilazione sui lati (6 finestre in tutto), provviste di zanzariera così da non far entrare insetti indesiderati, per poter permettere di arieggiare la serra anche senza aprire l'ingresso sul davanti. All'interno è spaziosa, io sono bassina quindi ci entro tranquillamente, ma anche il mio compagno che è più alto, dentro ci sta comodo. Soldi ben spesi!

Wow, this was a nice surprise! Quick to build, well made and resisted a couple of days of strong windy stormy days! I had to but additional long pegs but other than that it’s great. The windows are handy, good zips on the door. Nice size. Quick delivery as well. Loving it.

given the price it fulfills its greenhouse function! so far all tomatoes are thriving

La bâche tiens et les fermetures éclair idem
