The device setup is very easy and works great with a macbook pro and also great with ios over bluetooth. Actually nothing had to be configured after installing the driver. The printer works fine with 102x150 300pc label roll meant for zebra labelwriters. I was able to print postnl and dpd labels without any issues. I just had to select tge correct pagesize in adobe and done….ordered yesterday, installed in an hour after receiving it. Works great. Now we have to see how long it will last. This printer is actually a rebranded generic chinese labelprinter called xp-420b..

Super easy to install and to use!

(USB version)What I like about this printer:- It basically works after installing the driver and rebooting your computer.- It's fast- Print quality is OKWhat I don't like:- External power brick is a mess to manage on your desk.- The drivers are not very well made. Don't expect a smooth experience like on a HP printer. For instance when printing from your Chrome browser the page orientation (portrait/landscape) is missing. This is caused by the driver because the option is available when using HP or Canon printers.Warning:(see photo) the PDF labels generated by POST.NL are A4 format with half the page being blank. They won't fit on the standard label size (100mm x150mm) because the large blank space causes the actual shipping label to be printed too small instead of filling the entire printable area. This isn't a problem with other shipping companies like UPS, DHL, Fedex who understand that customers use label printers.[edit after 2 days of use] The barcodes on my labels turned out to be a bit murky and the scanner had trouble reading them. Fortunately there's a way to fine tune how crisp the bar codes are printed!Open the Windows Settings and go to Devices, then Printer & Scanners, then select the Vretti printer, then click its Manage button, then select Printer Properties. A new grey window opens with lots of tabs. Click the Preferences button. Yet another window open with tabs. Select the Options tab. In the Printer Options section, uncheck the "Use Current Printer Settings" checkbox. Use the slider to reduce the Darkness value (it doesn't actually make the print less dark). The lower you go the crisper the white bars between the black bars will be. (I've set mine to 1) It will depend on the barcodes you print, so you'll need to experiment.

Leider ist die Nutzung mit dem MacBook weder kabelgebunden noch mit WLAN einzurichten.Da hilft dann nur teure Marken Qualität.Schade.

Drucker lässt sich super flink unter Ubuntu LTS Linux einrichten und läuft tadellos.- Mensch sollte für Formate abseits von 4x6" jedoch sich mit CUPS auskennen.Ich selbst hab's jedenfalls allein hinbekommen (einfach die PPD-Datei im Unterordner anpassen und CUPS ans Service neustarten). Hier wäre Luft nach oben seitens des Herstellers, was Dokumentation angeht.Zu Windows & macOS kann ich nichts sagen, weil keine entsprechenden Geräte vorhanden oder im Einsatz.

Enkel installation på min Mac. Smidig att få ut fraktsedlar. Det kunde kanske kunnat vara med några provetiketter eller en första rulle.

It works out of the box, with their supplied USB cable, power supply & lead. Easy to set up: connect the cables, turn it on, load the labels, close the lid and press the top button to calibrate it for the installed labels. Comes with a getting started leaflet, plus a USB drive with everything else you'd need on it: manuals, videos & drivers. Their website and online support is easily found via the QR code in the packaging. The A6 labels are printed so quickly and yet the quality is excellent.
