Nice heat resistant mat for a Solo Mesa XL table top firepit.Build is nice, no ragged edges or sloppy seams.Somewhat thin, but I wouldn't trust any mat on top of a valuable table!Does the job for me.Use our little Solo on our back deck for dinners with friends. Would not consider my larger Solo Bonfire on my 2nd floor artificial plank deck. I'd guess insurance would be a major problem putting a firepit on a 2nd floor deck with no specific fire prevention added construction.Table I use is a metal table outside and the underside metal of the table below the Mesa does get somewhat warm after an hour of active fire. Again, notice the seller's honest statement that the mat is heat-resistant.Definitely recommended for the price. Wish it was 4 or 5 inches larger in diameter and made of a thicker material. Especially if company was over.
