If you need a starter product and can go for a Wacom Cintiq 16 Creative Pen Display money-wise, then go for this one. There's nothing more frustrating than trying to get going with something (imaging giving this to your child who's an aspiring artist), only to be held back by small details that just don't work for you or don't feel right. With Wacom Cintiq 16 Creative Pen Display everything is AAA. You can feel it's well built and works flawlessly. There's no lag with the pen, unless you have a really old computer and a slow graphics card. The pen is in fact top of the notch and the same as with the 32' model. The screen surface is papery like and does feel nice. It's recommended to get a stand for the 16' as well, because it allows further adjustments. Wacom interacts well with both iMac and PC, installation is super easy and Wacom control panel gives you all sorts of options. The recommended Wacom ExpressKey Remote Accessory is a good buy, too, as it helps to seamless work and leaves the need to go often for the regular keyboard behind. On a complementary note, the 32' is definitely "the beast" worth the investment. It's a top of the range product and it shows. Starting with the packaging, both the display and the stand - which is a definitive must - come packed so neatly it blows you away. The real estate on the 32' is not just massive in a sense of allowing you to have opened as many panels, as you desire, but it's so large it allows you a full body and arm movement, as if you were drawing on a proper canvas, which is also important at times, depending on what you are at.In reality the 32' is so impressive it effectively lifts your spirits every time you approach it to create. Actually even looking at it, gives you will to work. One of the nicer features is "touch off", as you don't really need it most of the time, unless you call up an on-screen keyboard and type something. Some reviews mention the 32' becoming hot and loud (because of a fan supposedly), but I haven't experienced either. What I did experience is a need to upgrade the graphics card, because a 5 year old one I have has some trouble driving two large displays. However if it works for you, surely the 32' Wacom can be your one and only display. The truth be told, the price of the stand strikes you as exaggerated, but once you see the thing in reality, you understand it's actually good they managed to make and sell it for that money. The stand box is probably three times the display box. And everything is so neatly packed it's just mind-blowing. Plus it comes with extra cables. The stand is an absolute super fine piece of engineering. The materials are just wow, there's a lot of metal. Although the stand requires assembly - and here one needs admit the graphic instructions could be better - you manage to put it together rather quickly. And once you do and mount the display on it, it looks just awesome. You will often see reviews of people adjusting the stand and display tilt, like it's super easy, which is not far from the truth, but what you might not see adequately - and it's something I dislike - is that you have to effectively hold/press the sides of the screen with your palms quite forcefully and press the leavers in the back with your figures to be able to adjust the whole thing. It's rather unclear how this pressing of the screen shall affect the product long term.Another matter worth pointing out is that, while the stand is a must, the legs/pads of the stand are super smooth and run over a usual desk surface, which was probably meant to be, so you can slide the whole thing back and forth over a desk depending where and how you want the display/stand to be.Admittedly I am a big Wacom fan, but only because they make truly great products.

I just received my Wacom Cintiq 16, and the pen was not inside the package! the packaging for the pen was there, but there was no pen! it's either that they have not included the pen while its written on the package that the Pro Pen 2 is included, or the package must have been opened and the pen was taken out during delivery! either way, very disappointed with Amazon and Wacom!

I upgraded form a Wacom cintiq 13HD. This is so far a great product, installation easy, really really simple. This is installing on a mac. I haven't tried windows yet.I am disappointed with the lack of accessories on this. It didn't come with a screen protector nor any extra nibs(correction, 3 x nibs are in the pen holder, tug on the cotton loop sticking out from the side of your pad). And you have to buy the stand separately- it's too expensive in my mind. So I didn't get that, but I got a 9.99 alternative: JUMKEET Laptop Stand,Foldable Portable Ventilated Desktop Laptop Holder. It works really well! So I am quite happy with this over the much more expensive alternative. My only concern is that the screen apparently doesn't support felt nibs. Which is a bit... disappointing. I fear that unless this pen screen proves somehow to make up for this rather proportionate downside, I might not be buying Wacom in the future. We'll see.I wanted to buy the pro version, but it was around 3k at the time of writing this. Which seems rather... overpriced. I needed something relatively compact, So I can transport it between my offices without too much fuss. It's a good buy so far, and for what it is it's a good price. Given it's not a budget brand. I like that the horrible annoying buttons on the side of the screen are now gone! The stand I bought also has a nice slot to put your pen on when you're not using it. So in my opinion it's far better than the one offered with the device for a fee of 70+.I will probably add to this review once I have used it for the purposes of digital painting, and drawing technical diagrams when switching between work and personal machines.Edit 28/03/2022: You can in fact use felt nibs on this version! Very happy, drawing is so much easier with felt nibs as the feedback makes adding details all the more easier. I think the device also helps to alleviate tremors? I don't have the most steady hands, and I have noticed a VAST improvement in my ability to draw finer details without wobbly-ness since having used this upgraded version. My only gripe is the pro pen slim. But that's for another review.
