As with all WAGO products, these wire connectors are a time saver that outperforms everything else. These connectors are specifically designed for light fixtures where the power wire is solid and the light fixture wires are multi-strand. You just stick the stripped solid wire into the round hole and then squeeze the connector open with your fingers and insert the stripped end of the multi-strand wire from the light fixture. If you are installing multiple light fixtures this is a time saver. NO MORE WIRE NUTS! Unlike wire nuts, these are reusable over and over.
