I had to wire a 10 g feed wire with multiple 12 g receptacles and junction boxes and this product was very reliable and easy to use. There was a bit of a learning curve- make sure the bare wire is inserted all the way into the port and make sure it is straight without bends. But when used properly, this product will save you alot of time and frustration. Because they are flat, you can push them into the back or sides of boxes and get more clearance than normal. For DIYs like me, the main challenge in crowded boxes is wire management. So if you are just getting started, make sure your wires all all lined up in advance, you know the direction you want your wires to enter the connector, and you know where your connector will end up in the box. This is important because although they hold wires very tightly, you can't expect them to hold onto wires with significant tension trying to pull them out. And finally, wrap them with a layer of electrical tape to make sure the levers don't pop up- not likely to happen, but no reason to take chances.
