I originally got this to put a few holes through my granite countertop but my husband, who owns the kitchen, decided he didn't want to commit to the project yet so I tested it instead on a paver in the yard. The drill bits work perfectly without the jig even with an underpowered cordless drill.I was a little leery of the jig. When I originally played with the jig & bits, I noticed that the holes on the jig were a touch smaller than the bits themselves. When I actually used the jig, the bit cuts away soft plastic so the hole becomes a perfect fit but chunks of plastic were incrusted in the bit. I don't know if it impacted performance at all but something to note. I used duct tape instead of the provided tape because I was doing this on a concrete paver and I didn't think the tape would stick. Bin privater Nutzer und habe mein gefliestes Bad renoviert. Dafür auch die Bohrer. Fliesen und Duschrückwand gebohrt. Macht was es soll.

Makes a lot of dust but they cut into stone, cement, slate, marble etc. For high density material like marble it can be hard to get them to center tho and they will scuff up the surface before they start. I wouldn't recommend these for something like a counter top unless you started the hole with something else first,. Wich might sound counter productive but honestly considering how much time and effort drilling marble can be it's still worthwhile because these will cut into it faster and cleaner! They just have a hard time a (clean) hole on something that dense.
