I have been searching for something like this to make it easier for me to carry my slightly oversized "armpit dog" despite shoulder pain. I bought Size Medium for my 16 pound dog. He's not in the 8-12 pound weight range, but he fits into the neck and bust/chest measurement ranges, and I was concerned that the size large would be too long.In case it is unclear from the listing. This is essentially a wearable sling. You put your dog's legs through each of the appropriate openings, and the top of the sling closes around the dog via velcro (about 3.75 inches of material wrap over the midline, and there are two 2"x3" pieces of velcro holding it closed). I've included pictures showing the outside and inside of the unfastened harness, and a shot of the side view on the side where the flap velcros closed.I'm disappointed to say, this one isn't it. Obviously, I DO like the concept. I also think the canvas, the straps, and the lining are decent. The particular proportions seem okay to fit on my dog, and in my opinion, this design is great FOR CARRYING PURPOSES using the strap attached to the D-rings. I don't think this design would be comfortable for a dog to wear just running around or even walking on a leash. I would not trust that integrated handle for lifting, as it depends on the velcro holding.Here's where they went wrong:* They used extremely cheap (low quality) hardware (the D-rings and the snaps). The hardware is supporting the dog's weight, and it needs to be decent to excellent quality.* The strap design is fatally flawed. For some reason that I do not understand, they integrated an additional D-ring that limits how much the strap can be shortened. [I have a blue arrow pointing at this in the picture.] With the strap at its shortest length, my dog ends up at my low hip level. That's uncomfortable for both of us, and makes for very poor ergonomics (for me). My dog needs to be at high waist level, so that he tucks underneath my upper arm. If I loop the strap to make the the snap go thru that weird extra D-ring in addition to the other two D-rings, that just about makes the correct strap length, but it is awkward to accomplish and I'm not happy about putting the additional strain on that hardware. I would wish to wear the sling in a "cross body" configuration, in case that's not clear.Obviously I can use a different strap (one that adjusts to the correct length and has better hardware). But I don't think I can easily accomplish the replacement of the four D-rings in the harness itself.These are my thoughts. Personally, I don't like the risk of dropping my dog due to a hardware failure, and I'm afraid I need to rate this as 1 star.Edit: The listing refers to a "Small Puppy Treat Bag Dog Poop Bag." A standalone treat bag was not included at the time of my review. The right side of the harness/sling garment has a pocket that you might use for poop bags or treats. On the size medium harness, not counting the top flap, it measures about 5.25" by 3" and protrudes about 3/4 inch. There is not a hole in it to dispense bags, but you could leave the end of the roll slightly sticking out from under the flap. I've added a picture featuring the pocket (this also shows the top handle, and the part of the harness/sling/garment that wraps over the dog's back).

I can’t rate this highly enough! Is extremely sturdy, even though it can easily fold down into the provided carrier bag. I was worried the double wouldn’t fit in my backseat (2017 Camry!) but it does easily with room for perhaps a third attachment! Works great as a safe carrier, designed to work on its own OR together. There are interior and exterior zips that have buckles for security (designed so ur kitties can’t undo it from the inside). Also, the included shoulder strap is a lifesaver. With it, I’m able to carry both my heavy boys in the *connected* carrier at the same time over my shoulder!The package even came with a lovely note from the manufacturer, which showed me they care about what they’re making. Definitely an investment, but worth it!

I bought this for my cat so he could come on road trips as he's very comfortable in the vehicle with other carriers but wanted a bit more space for him to move around in. I leave this out for him with a few of the flaps up and a few down but unzipped and it gives him the zoomies. He "hunts" from it and will lie in wait for a toy which he'll then pounce on. When we go for trips in the car he's very happy to climb aboard. I recommend clipping the zippers together when transporting as my cat has fallen out from shifting his weight while walking with him in it. He sort of landed on the grass in a state of shock before I simply scooped him up to put him back so lesson learnt! Neat feature. Even just using one of the compartments on its own is quite large. My only wish is that it is sturdier. If you put any kind of weight on top of the carrier it can/will collapse. ( ie the weight of a cat sitting atop it)

It has taken me so long to write a review because I bought this way in advance of when I needed it.This carrier is PHENOMENAL. They have thought of everything. I had to take my cats on a two day drive, I couldn’t bear to put them in the hold of a plane and I wanted them to at least be with me.This bag is super spacious, giving them room to stand or sit together if they want. It has a part for seatbelts to attach. It has clips to hold all the zips together, so no risk of them opening it and running!! It folds away so small so can be stored easily.I didn’t bother with the hammocks, I know my cats wouldn’t be fussed about that, but all cats are different.The only small complaint I would have is that you can’t have it with the middle section open for them to move around and then change it to a two carrier for carrying them from the car etc. You can only separated them safely if the middle compartment is down, which is understandable, it would be pretty difficult to construct it a different way I guess. But it does have two handles to carry it as one big bag if you are only going to carry it short distances.Little tip just for anyone thinking of going long distance with their cats like I just have, covering the carrier in a light breathable blanket works wonders!! They were good as gold!Anyway if I could give this carrier 10/5 I would!!!!
