Upon Receipt of the three ordered units , one unit was completely unfunctional.After opening this unit I found the display loose in the box , unplugged in the motherboard PCB.The units are in terrible electrical condition. I have changed the two opamps TL072C by a good audioopamp as LM4562 and also changed the value of the MSB DAC ladder resistor to 2000 Ohm.( fine tuned with a variabele resistor to obtain no breakpoint in the sawtooth wave at 10 kHz. )The units now work correctly to 999999 Hz with 6 dB o/p signal amplitude drop and nearly flat toyour announced 100 kHz range. The spurious filter now also functions correctly.My conclusion : with some correct reengineering a fine unit can be produced.I also corrected the Xtal frequency (30 MHz) to adjust the absolute output frequency at 100 kHzwithin 1 Hz ( measured wrt DCF77 77,5 kHz ) by adding a small ceramic capacitor of 15 pF overone of the xtal pinsOne could envisage using the unit with an external correct reference frequency to avoid this error.

Arriva in uno scatolino di cartone e un foglio di istruzioni stampato in A4, il tutto nella più schietta filosofia minimal-style. Svolge comunque la sua funzione per scopi didattici e hobbistici dove non sia richiesto un generatore più sofisticato i cui prezzi partono da cifre sei volte o più superiori. Quattro stelle perché pur sufficientemente funzionale agli scopi prefissati, non può essere il sostituto di apparecchiature ben più raffinate.

Après échange du premier appareil reçu qui ne délivrait pas des signaux conformes à ses spécifications, le deuxième reçu fonctionne très bien (contrôlé à l’oscilloscope).Je l’alimente avec un powerbank pour smartphone.Les manipulations de réglages de fréquence et de forme de signaux avec les différents boutons poussoirs ne sont pas très conviviales.
