I have a Professional video tripod (cost over £200) for the legs alone that unfortunately is only "professional" by name and from a major Tripod manufacturer, my problem was when it touched the head I got wobble via the weak Tripod's twin legs and spreader especially when on a grass or a similar soft surface - But by adding the Walimex 3kg Tripod weight all has been cured, the Tripod is now stable - and so is my video footage.. as far as I can see the Walimex weight is going to be a great asset and definitely worth the money, I would recommend this to anyone with a similar problem, but understand it is quite heavy to transport about, especially if you are already weighted down with Video or Photographic gear, good buy and good service from Amazon.

Zu einem Gewicht lässt sich nicht viel sagen, aber ich versuche es trotzdem. Verarbeitet ist es sehr gut und wirkt genauso solide wie auf der Abbildung. Gekauft habe ich es für mein Lichtstativ WT-806 von Walimex. Hin und wieder montiere ich einen Galgen an dieses Stativ und je nach dem wie weit ich das Stativ und den Galgen mit Blitz und Lichtformer ausziehe kann es schon mal wackelig werden. Ich verwende dann dieses Gewicht um die Stabilität wieder herzustellen. Dafür setze ich es in die unteren Doppelverstrebungen ein und verschiebe es soweit wie erforderlich. Funktioniert perfekt, so dass ich dieses Gewicht weiterempfehlen kann.

I use it to stabilise the base of a studio light stand. It is well-made and works. I would buy several more if it cost less.
