Protected my hearing while still able to hear background noise. Difficult to locate direction of sound but I am happy with the purchase. Bluetooth is great for cutting the grass while listening to music too.

Saves you hearing while enhancing sounds!I suffer from Meniere's disease, which means my left ear is down to 60% and ringing, my right ear is down to 90% and I want to keep them both from getting worse. For years, i have struggled with locating the direction of sounds out in the woods, especially when trying to locate those faint gobbles and hens.Now add to that having to put on protection once you are getting ready to make a shot.... too much movement unless you are in a blind!This year, i finally used these to hunt (i thought I had lost them) and was able to hear sounds now lost to me! I was able to wear them for hours while finally being able to locate all the sounds and their direction. When the time came to take the shot, i forgot i even had them on! Now you can finally hunt with hearing protection and not lose any situational awareness!My only suggestion would be to use a different type of battery that can be recharged (like a 18650). They already sell a rechargeable model but not sure how long they last or if the battery can be swapped as it runs out.
