Built up it looks good, but:1. holes on the wrong side, I had to drill through by hand.2. there was no hole on the other side, I also had to re-drill.I don't think it was meant that way.Unfortunately, I had not found an oil pump from a known manufacturer, which is why I trusted this one blindly.

This Model is of Exceptional Quality in terms of detail and accuracy along with moving components; the miniature oil pump set is superb. The assembly difficulty is very low with the exception of minor model engineering flaws which can be easily modified with an X-Acto knife and super glue. Size wise the entire model fits in the palm of your hand (literally). I have yet to order the optional mechanizing component but i'm sure it will work perfectly.

Super detailed, and looks good when completed. It also has very small parts, and it's pretty delicate. I really wanted to motorize it, but the gears were sticking, and I couldn't figure out what was causing the problem. So, I had to make the hard decision to only use it as a static model.

I purchased two of these. They both failed at the same gear shaft. It is not designed properly, the instructions are incorrect, and the parts are not molded and cut according to their he diagrams. It takes hours to properly assemble this pump jack, only to have it fail within minutes of operation. The manufacturer has to know they are generating profit off of a defective product that will not perform as illustrated. Very disappointed in Walthers.

My husband put this together. It is 100% cute. Has all the working parts to look like it’s pumping, but you have to buy the motor separately.
