I purchased this floating selfie stick as earlier this year I dropped my action camera whilst snorkelling and it sunk to a depth I could not reach in the sea, this stick was to prevent this from happening again with my new expensive camera, unfortunately the stick does not float, fortunately I had the wrist strap secured so avoided loosing my new camera. The stick itself is well built with non corrosive parts however please don’t rely on this to bring you dropped camera to the surface as it can’t even return itself without a camera attached to the surface.
