What an absolute little gem this watercolour book is! I wanted something which I could carry with me and use to paint small sized versions of what I could see. I keep this on my desk when not carrying it around, and also use it for kind of 'painting my day'. Small things which tell a story of what I've been doing that day. EG painting paint brushes for the days I've painted, painting bumble bees for when one came into the conservatory and I had to help it out again. A flower which caught my eye, and I date it so that I can go back to that moment, on that day, and recall it. This lovely little book is the perfect size for carrying around, and perfect for capturing a moment to remember. The Paper Quality is brilliant. Really great quality, thick, and it holds the watercolours really well. To have such a fabulous little watercolour book of such great quality is an amazing value for money purchase, and I'm already planning to buy my next one - that's how impressed I am, and how much I love this one. I highly recommend this book - especially so if you like to paint 'little'.Hope this review has been of some help to you.

I bought the version with a red cover. It's a very vibrant shade of red that I love. The pages are saddle sitched and made of quality, thick watercolor paper. When I run out of pages, I'll buy this one again!

Adorable micro sketch book which my daughter loves. Nice quality paper with lovely design on the outside. Great for travel or on the move.

I ordered this for a friend's daughter who is non-verbal autistic but artistically gifted. I wanted to give her something that she could use for her creative endeavours. Upon opening, I was surprised by how nice the quality is. The paper inside is really lovely - thick and could be used for watercolours, pencil sketches, pen-and-ink drawings.I selected a covered with cloth that has a stylised white and red flowers with green leaves and a black background. This colour scheme could make it a suitable Christmas gift and it's just the right size (small!) to pop into a loved one's stocking. However, it's not so Chrismas-sy that it can't be given or used at other times of year (I gave it as a birthday gift in February)The cloth cover makes the book feel higher quality than a simple cardboard cover. And the colour-co-ordinated elastic holds the pages closed, which is a thoughtful touch.It's a really nice, classy little gift. At the current price of £6.99, I think it is decent value.
