LCD en controller.
De ST7789VW is een single-chip controller/driver voor 262K kleur, grafisch type TFT-LCD. Het bestaat uit 240 bronleidingen en 320 poortleidingen. De resolutie van dit LCD-scherm bedraagt 135 (H) RGB x 240 (V), het ondersteunt horizontale en verticale modus en het maakt niet gebruik van het volledige RAM van de controller.
Dit LCD accepteert 8-bits/9-bits/16-bits/18-bits parallelle interface, die RGB444, RGB565, RGB666 zijn. Het kleurformaat in demo-codes is RGB565.
Dit LCD maakt gebruik van een 4-regelige SPI-interface om GPIO en snelle snelheid te verminderen.

I went to their website, and downloaded the Micro Python example code. Saved to the Pico via Thorney, as main.py...and bamb! Very fast, bright and vivid resolution. Can't wait to start making projects with it.

This is a very versatile display due to its RGB capabilities and additional buttons and joystick which comes at a very decent price. I bought two of them; both of them working without problems up to now. I am using the displays with MicroPython and created an enhanced version of the original driver to fit my application needs. It could be found on GitHub.

This was nice, and you can definitely use CircuitPython with a little tweaking. I was slightly upset when both the buttons fell off so all I had left was a joystick- looking closer, it’s just some bent over small metal prongs that I guess got snagged before I put a cover over it. It was 5 stars before that happened. Great price point and decent product, but I don’t think I’d worry about the buttons in the future.

I really like the screen, and I like the fit it has onto the pico. Furthermore, I really like that on the waveshave website, they have working code for both C and MicroPython, like what?! Most people don't have working code for shields like this, so props there. However, upon further investigation, it doesn't seem like my joystick came working, which is really sad for me because I like the idea of the 4 buttons in one approach. Overall, I guess it might be working for you without too much trouble, the screen is pretty good compared to others, but you're still getting a relatively cheap board with limited quality.
