Waveshare 1U Rack Kit for Raspberry Pi 4B with 19″ Rackmount Supports up to 4 Units

Da beide die selbe Bauform haben können sie Problemfrei eingebaut werden.Ich empfehle ein starkes Netzteil mit 100W zu kaufen (5V, 20A) und passend dazu Kabel mit einem Stecker 5mm x 2,2mm. Damit kann man dann sogar 4x RPI 5B versorgen ohne Probleme zu bekommen.

This kit comes with all the parts you need to mount up to four raspberry pi4 units within a 1U rack. The sdcard and video are routed to the front panel (note the sdcard holder is the type that will launch the card across the room if not careful!)Initial thoughts, this kit is well built, the sdcard flex could be slightly longer as it can be tricky to get it seated. The fans run quite (no pwm control so fan is always on) and there is no voltage regulator on the barrel connector, so be careful feeding power directly as irreversible damage to your raspberry pi. All mounting hardware is supplied including 4 cage nuts & boltsOnly improvements would be a pwm controlled fan and a regulated power input for the barrel connector.

The number of rackmount solutions for the Raspberry Pi continues to dwindle. This is one of the better of the remaining.Pros:1. Front accessible full-size HDMI (only one)2. Front accessible SD card slot (do not rackmount your Pi without one!3. Mounts Raspberry Pi 4B or 5 (even if RPi 5 is not mentioned in manufacturer's description, it works!)4. Actually fits in 19" rackmount (apparently this needs to be said?!)Cons:1. Does not attach to all four holes, front and back. (I add a piece of acrylic from a "case" underneath to allow attachment of rear holes. Push front holes through posts (router out as necessary).2. Posts are attached to rackmount, which only allows top down attachment of HATs.3. No 2.5" SSD space.4. No rear fan attachment position (at least 40mm).I would love to see an optional second mounting point for HATs and Bottoms behind the front mounting space (i.e., "double depth!). Raspberry Pi 5 PCIe HATs and Bottoms only stack one high above the Raspberry Pi 5. But as many as 5 are possible (with use of a PCIe expander). Also UPS boards tend to be huge. A second mounting point in the rear would be great.Don't get me wrong. This is a great rackmount for Raspberry Pi 4B and 5 (one of the few for the 5). It satisfies an important use case. I think it could be expanded upon. I do hope this model has a future ahead and continues to be sold.I will update this review when I have finished building it out.
