This cable allow you to use DSI displays with the new RPI 5 connector. It's a simple must have for any tinkerer who makes stuff utilizing the new RPI 5 units. There are two variants, with EMI shielding (Black cables) and without (Gold). I have not noticed any EMI issues on the non shielded cables to date but the extra insurance of shielded cables is a nice upgrade option if you have your build near any other electrical devices etc. Works great and is perfect for larger builds that require that extra length.

One of the common issues I run into when interfacing cameras and displays to the CSI/DSI ports on the pi is, aside from HAT clearance, inadequate length.
