This item is amazing! It's a sort of prototype but very promising! Setting it up is a bit technical, but once you sort it out, you can display your pictures just like a normal piece of paper. The quality and the colors are super low; don't expect to be able to display your mountain landscape photo and see it clearly. However, if you put in the image of a bucket of flowers with basic colors, or a picture of a cat, dog, etc., that's where it works great!

this version of the product is whitout battery's. there is a version with batterys ordered by mistake the wrong version but the service of Waveshare is so great they helped me to get is to work.it is a great mothersday present. every day it displays a differents picture or art made by my children.

Dos de dos que he pedido, uno despues de otro, y los dos con el mismo defecto. El lector de tarjetas SD es de muy mala calidad, y no permite que la tarjeta SD entre completamente para hacer contacto. Pensé con el primero que sería un defecto ocasional, pero al pedir el segundo presenta el mismo problema. Una completa perdida de tiempo.

Resolution and color is acceptable. Getting the photo converted to required format is a bit technical.

Sold as New , but clearly a second hand. Also it's not working out if the box. Finally who on earth use a rp2040 and dont expose any gpio ? Waveshare, I guess.

The item comes with a TF card and a card reader. The setup process is much easier than I thought. The only bad thing is that you have to look for the online manual from their official website. It's not included in the package.Once the photo is displayed, it will not need any power at all, unless you want it to automatically jump to next photos. The photos it displays will not be as vivid and detailed as those in general electronic photo albums, which is expected.

Der Bilderrahmen kommt ohne Akku und ohne 1220 li Zelle für die interne Uhr. Die Bedienungsanleitung und nötige Software muss aus dem Internet geladen werden.Das Gerät kann bis 100 farbige Fotos im Format 800x480 Pixel / 7 Farben darstellen. Dazu legt man einen Ordner an, packt das beim Hersteller herunterladbare Konvertierungsprogramm ( 2kleine Dateien) in den Ordner und kann dann die konvertierten *.bmp in den Ordner "pic" auf die SD-Karte schieben. Ich habe die Bilder vorher auf die passende Größe im jpg Format angepasst und dann konvertiert. Es funktioniert sehr gut.Der Bilderrahmen muss fur die einstellung des automatischen Bilderwechsels an den PC über USB angeschlossen werden. Nach Anleitung auf der Webseite von waveshare werden in der richtigen Reihenfolge Rst und Boot gedrückt und im PC erscheint der Rahmen als Laufwerk. Die ausgewählte Software (meine Wahl war Wechsel alle 4 Stunden in ungeordneter Reihenfolge) kann dann ausgespielt werden. Auch eigene Software kann man installieren. Tolles Teil, der Eigenbau wäre teurer und aufwendig gewesen.
