It fits right into my hobby workflow without a hitch.If they ever release a version with built-in EEPROM, it might just become my go-to board for every project. This is well thought out dev board that's very compact and ideal for many microcontroller projects. It's only limited by the available IO that this board exposes. Still, it has UART, I2C, and SPI (and ADC, PWM, and I2S), but share pins, so need to decide which signaling to set- but at least the flexibility it there. Also has a tiny WiFi/BT antenna right on the board.If you don't need to connect to a lot of external IO and want the most compact package short of making a custom PCB, this is it.

Waveshare has always been a respectable brand in the microcontroller space, their Mini and Zero series have been great for embedding, I personally used this module to add some smarts to an existing appliance and integrate it with Home Assistant.
