Funktioniert ohne Probleme mit einem FoxESS H3 Wechselrichter und der (Custom) FoxESS Modbus Home Assistant Integration. Wichtig: Es muss in der Integration der RTU Modus ausgewählt werden.

It works exactly as expected. It's an RS485 to Ethernet device, a great alternative if you need to interface with something and they want you to use a Raspberry Pi + an adapter. The only difference being instead of reading from a serial port, you simply read from a TCP connection. I suggest using a PoE splitter to split the 5V off ethernet instead of a power adapter, I got one off Amazon that does 2.4A (way overkill) with barrel jack dimensions of 5.5x2.1mm.It's pretty plug-n-play, you set up your information in the Web UI, wire up your device (in my case, a Bryant Evolution series HVAC system) and setup your software to read/write with the connection instead. I'm sure there's a way to configure it over TCP, or to do some special things with it, but with basic setup it simply acts as a relay and pushes data over TCP. The documentation COULD be better, but if you're looking at this you probably know what you're doing already, so just treat it like a serial port and read/write data with it.
