Nice device that allows switching between 5V and 3.3V signals. Also, a true FT232RL device, which you can invert the signals if desired with the FTDI programming tool.

This is great, excellent value. I bought this after mistakenly buying a 5V TTL alternative, only to realize that I needed a 3.3V one. This one is the only one I've seen that is switchable between voltages, and even has LEDs to show line activity. The plug housing even tells you which wire is which by color code, without you needing to go looking for instructions or a datasheet -- Very handy! Oh... and I've only used the 3.3V setting do far, but it works great.

This works well for my needs. I'm using this to debug a UART port on one of my devices and it works as advertised. I've had no issues getting it detected or communicated once the pins were hooked up correctly. Would buy again from this manufacturer.
