I swapped my old network card with this one to get access to wifi 7. The switch was pretty straight forward. The only part that was a little bit challenging was getting the old antenna wires to attach to the new card. That's not an issue specific to this card though. My laptop is an Asus VivoBook 15 OLED with 12th gen intel CPU. My understanding is that motherboards supporting at least 12th gen intel CPUs should also support Wifi 7.I've had a 6GHz network for a while now to use with Wifi 6E, but I've always had problems with it. When I was removing the antenna connectors from the old card, it's possible that one of them was loose or entirely detached. I can't know for sure, but after putting this card in, the 6GHz network is available at full strength. While I can't be certain of the cause, I'm happy that getting this new Wifi card at least prompted me to peel back the tape and look at the antenna connectors.I frequently remote in to my dekstop rig from my laptop, so the reduced latency from the newer wifi standards is quite nice, especially when gaming with Parsec. The network latency varies, but it seems to hover around 2-3ms most of the time. It has some spikes that go higher, but it usually settles back down to that range. That's pretty impressive for a wireless connection. Using a wired ethernet connection is still the best, but the latency difference isn't actually huge. Network jitter is definitely better on the wired connection, but I'm impressed so far.I'm noticing these benefits with a Wifi 6E router. I don't have a Wifi 7 one yet. So the performance will be even better when this network card can be used to its full extent. 5 stars. No complaints or downsides.

Both WiFi and Bluetooth works perfectly with the card installed in the vertical M.2 WiFi slot of an ASUS Prime B760-PLUS motherboard, after installing the two Windows 11 drivers from the Intel website. To properly secure the card to the motherboard and the antennas to the backplate (I/O shield) in the vertical M.2 slot, an additional metal bracket/case needed to be bought, and can be found under names like "ASUS WiFi GO box".

I am very happy with this. I recently upgraded the house to wifi 7 mesh and wanted to be able to get the most out of it. This was a straight forward and easy upgrade. I swapped out the old wifi card and popped this in place, installed the drivers and was able to get back online. Total time was less than 30minutes. I noticed a slightly higher throughput, but the biggest benefit to me is the newer standard as I have a diverse iot ecosystem and have already noticed a more stable connection.

Quick to install, easy to setup. Slightly concerned that it just came in a plastic bag and no hard case, but it did arrive safe. Not much troubleshooting needed.
