Honestly surprised I had to read that many reviews to come across this - these things change the way the Airpods sound. They don't block the sensor like I've seen lots of people say, they very minimally affect noise cancelling, they feel great against your skin, maybe even better than the native Airpods. But they change the sound and they affect the passthrough (since that's the airpods generating sound in your ear). It's not disastrous, but enough that you'll notice. And you'll very likely not be crazy about it.It's almost like there's an uncontrolled treble line at the top. I had bought a few coz I wanted the color, but I think I'll keep one for the times when I'm outside and the sweat protection is worth the trade-off, and then return the rest.I probably wouldn't use them when listening stationary. And I'm very confused as to why more reviews don't say this...

They look ok and are also not uncomfortable, but my AirPods Max are not detectie my head with them.So they are useless.

The do exactly what they say they do.Been wanting to use my AirPods Max in the gym for some time now and never found a solution that doesn’t ruin the pads. These work perfectly

I had purchased Soulwit earpad covers and while they did a very good job at reducing condensation and protecting the ear cups, they still left the inner middle part of the earpads unprotected. These protect the outside and inner portion of the ear cup. I just went on an hour long walk and very hot and humid weather and I came back to see no condensation within the ear cups. The ANC is affected but to a lesser degree, maybe a 5-10% decrease in performance. These also change the soundstage of the headphones in a way that reduces the bass which for me is good as I prefer tight sounding headphones. The treble and mid range are largely unaffected. They do slightly increase the clamping force. For me, the silicone is more comfortable than the material of the ear cups, so even inside, I keep these protectors on. When installed correctly, there are holes in the silicone protectors that create an opening for the ear detection sensors in the ear cups. Be mindful to install them correctly because if installed incorrectly, the ear detection sensors will be blocked.
