If you are thinking of getting into book binding then this product really does give you that start you need. I found it most enjoyable to create my first small book. The instructions are very hard to follow especially if you know nothing about book binding. So I suggest you research the fundamentals first, I used YouTube. I think as the instructions are so poor without that knowledge I really would have struggled. However, the overall product is well worth the money and it does produce a great looking book. As a gift for someone it would be ideal, especially if book binding was something of interest.

Honestly not sure how I feel about this item, nothing is correct about it and the instructions are very poor, had to make it half the size as the paper was not the correct size to fold in half and not enough leather or cardboard to make the spin so it is a very small note book now, atleast I have the tools out of it to keep using

Its a great kit for beginners like myself who have never done anything like this but always wanted to try and it is value for money... except the size of the faux leather you get does not fit front and back only the front or turn it to the side and wrap it round but then theres about 1cm missing at the top/bottom depending on how you line it up other than that its a great kit havent used it yet tho due to the fabric size issue
