I use my Weck Jars every day, and my family is not gentle with the rubber gaskets. Oils and vinegars over time will wear the gaskets out, so I keep extras on hand to ensure that I can replace any that are beginning to wear out. I do not like smells in my refrigerator so good rubber gaskets are important. They are priced well, allow for a tight seal and fit the jars perfectly. I recommend hand washing these to extend their life.
