Despite the lower end specs, this tablet is surprisingly quick and will serve well for some quick research or keeping in kitchen for recipes/menu look-ups. Android 14 comes installed (specifically a fork called 'BigDroid'), so your software is not too far out of date. The overall build of the device does feel lower end and the backing picks up scuffs and scratches easily, but it's doesn't appear like it will fall apart on you. Overall size at 10" suitable for most tasks that would be too small on a phone and it makes good use of the FHD resolution. Memory is adequate and while multi-tasking and task switching are no lightening fast, the delays are not terribly noticeable. SD card expandable memory is a throwback feature that's nice to see here. The front camera is fine for an impromptu video call and the rear camera is there for tradition's sake. There is also a headphone jack so you can keep using your Sony headphones with the 3.5mm adapter you've had for 20 years. It has WiFi and it will connect with your router, however the claim of 5G is misleading at best, since it does not have a SIM port and no eSIM functionality. I don't really see not having 5G on a budget tablet as a huge drawback, but it shouldn't be in the description if it's not there.If you need a tablet for basic internet use, watching movies, playing a few light games, or a suitable kid's tablet, this tablet gives you virtually all the features you'll need without pinching your wallet too hard.

This is a cheap tablet, so I can't expect it to outperform my iPhone 13. But, it is also a few years newer and has an 8 core processor. The problem is multifaceted though. That processor has low clock speeds (4 at 1.8, and 4 at around 1.4 or so), the internal storage does not seem overly zippy, and the RAM is actually 4 gigabytes and anything above that is virtual memory (using the storage as additional slow RAM). The result is that this thing feels very sluggish in most tasks. Facebook is slow and will also occasional fail to update the feed and the Amazon application is painful to navigate. I would say that video performance is good. The graphics chip in this combined with the processor seems to handle Youtube very well...except that audio often falls out of sync after commercials. Not every time, but often. You can scrub the timeline back a bit and it will reorient itself. Internal storage is generous in size for this price, and you can add in a micro SD card. I added a 256GB one with good performance. The tablet often disconnects the SD card after it sits locked for a bit, causing you to wait after unlocking before thew apps on the card become available. Sometimes it doesn't and I have to restart the tablet.This all might be okay, since it is cheap, but there is another issue. Android (the operating system) seems to grant access to updates based upon agreements (and money) that the company has made with Google. If you have ever had an Android phone that updated to newer versions of Android until it suddenly didn't (even though it seemed fast enough to run the current version), you may know what I'm talking about. I suspect this company did not pay to keep these tablets up to date. It came with Android 14 with a security patch from March 2024, and has never pulled anything newer even though Android is on at least version 15, and I'm sure there have been more security updates. Individual apps have been updating, but how long until this flavor of Android 14 is too old for that?In short, it does work, is slow, and probably won't be kept up to date. If you want a long-term device, I suggest looking at more well-known brands and spending more.

This tablet is ok for the price. It's definitely not fast, and it charges slowly. The picture quality is good, and it's easy to figure out and use. Definitely not a high end tablet, but I didn't expect so for the price.

Not a bad product but it doesn't have SIM slots and cellular internet connection. I had to return it because that's not what I wanted.
