Works as it should. Lasts a very long time if you keep it clean. Heats and flows nicely.

WELLER è sempre WELLER. Ottima punta, non mi spiacerebbe che fossero disponibili anche punte più strette.

okay - probably deserves a five star. I was only a bit disappointed because I wanted a tip for soldering fine pade (resistor trace pads etc) and this was a BIT big for that... so for general PCB use i might pick the 'D' size - which i did also. Just a tip. (no pun intended)

The "e" series tips are much better than the lower cost weller lookalikes, they hold their cleanliness better and seem to heat up quicker which I suspect is better metal composition. Now soldering boards correctly instead of chasing ghost grips in circuitry.Parts arrived a day ahead of time and will order replacements form Apex TG.

This is a great soldering iron system with good soldering tips!My only recommendation is to make sure that you don't over heat your tip as you will kill the lifespan of the tip by fatiguing the metal prematurely which will kill performance and longevity of the tip.Good luck!!!
