This is a beautiful book for journaling

I absolutely love this but if you’re going to make the book refillable shouldn’t you attach the bookmark ribbons to the actual leather parts? If you refill the book and the refill doesn’t have the bookmark ribbons then what? For me the ribbons weren’t all that important but I just thought this to be a bit of a downside when in the perspective of someone looking forward to them. Aside from this; the lock is extremely well made. I love the shape so very much. I love the gilded accents. The texture of the outer shell is near exact to leather although it’s a pu leather type. It’s extremely well worth it ! I also really love the warm toned pages. I’ve been using mine for botany studies and it really gives that foragers feel~ I love it all.

I ordered this diary/journal because of the beautiful design and the customizable lock. The lock works very well, the quality of this journal is very good, and it feels so nice to write in and hold. The included pen is beautiful and feels nice to hold, although it's a bit tricky to get the ink to flow out of it without pressing down hard. I like that this diary has a pen holder in it, and I love the gold designs on the cover of the diary. I like that this journal has pockets on the inside of each side so that you can replace the pages once you're out of the included set. I like the feel of the paper inside as your write in it, and I like that there are date slots at the top of each page. I love this journal so much, and I love that it locks. Overall, this is a wonderful purchase, and would make an amazing gift, especially because of the beautiful box that it comes in.
