Typical WERA quality, but only for a couple of pounds more than the ubiquitous red-topped mains tester screwdriver, that has a poor quality tip, where the chrome chips and the metal poorly finished. But THIS Wera is an altogether different beast. Very beautifully engineered and cut tip. Not chrome coated, but rust proof and really well made.One commenter complained about the spring clip, which I agree sticks out, but not uncomfortably so, IMO. The hand somehow fits quite smoothly over it, which is surprising, as it does look as if it'd intrude into the palm rather. I didn't find this at all; and the extra diameter of the handle compared to the bulk standard one eases the pressure the user needs to exert in order to loosen or tighten screws. It certainly doesn't slip and rotate in the annoying, distracting fashion that the standard, cheaper screwdriver version does.The light is a tad dim, but not markedly less so than the usual standard screwdriver offers. There are only seemingly 2 alternatives tot he cheaper offering, this Wera and the Wiha, but the Wiha is way, way more. Not worth the price premium in my book, unless you really don't like the wider bodied style of this screwdriver - in which case the Wiha may be for you. But for not much over £4.00 I say this Wera is a relative bargain.

Ne ho provati diversi modelli, dai più economici ai meno economici , come l'oggetto in questione , ma in questo caso si può affermare che il detto " chi meno spende più spende " sia vero. Sicuramente molto più costoso dei concorrenti , ma di gran lunga più robusto e resistente, perché come tutti sanno , pur essendo un cerca fase, viene abitualmente adoperato come giravate e questo prodotto è molto più resistente degli altri modelli provati.

Quite disappointing.The light to indicate presence of voltage is so dim, it's barely visible.I think this product is a safety hazard.Returning it.

Never knew wera made voltage test pens. It works well on circuits and breakers. Would like to see a 80v to 500v version of this. It's safe for home use but industrial use maybe not.
