Really simple to fit; just undo the shower hose on the inlet end, screw the unit in and then attach the shower hose to the other end of the filter. Doing it this way you will not get tangled up in the shower hose. The water is softer in a very hard water area (the Isle of Wight, chalk-based water with plenty of lime) and does not interrupt the flow to the shower head.
