Excellent! Just like new. Zero hours.

Been running a couple of these for a few months now - so far no issues. Packaged very well in the box. I don't expect them to last forever, but for the price, these are hard to beat. Other similar Hitachi drives I own are still running fine after 95,000+ power-on hours

I took a chance on one of these drives and it worked out. I now have four of them. Expect these drives to all be at about half of their lifespan. I consider a hard drive good for 40,000 hours and these drives usually come with 20-25K hours on them. For me, this is not an issue as I will be using these for monthly backups and then the drives spend the rest of their time on a shelf.The only SMART warnings these drives so far have mentioned is lifespan due to the number of hours on them. No helium level, reallocated/pending blocks, or error warnings at all. It looks like all drives get a short offline SMART selftest done so it is recommended (with any drive you buy) to at least run a full selftest. Once that completes and passes 100%, the drive is ready for use.So far, with 4 drives over the span of several months, you can't beat the price. Sure they have some hours on them but 10TB for under $100 is a great deal. Using them for the occasional backups these should last years.

After 1 year - the disk had many error and stop working completely - do not buy it !!!

SMART metrics do not seem to have been cleared at all in an effort to make the drives look newer than they are. All three drives passed all long tests in HDTune and the initialization in my Synology. Have been running for many months no with no issues. Mine were ordered and shipped by GoHardDrive. I've had quite a number of drives from them going back to around 2015/16 with similar results.
