je viens de le brancher sur un vieux ventilo style ancien bistro, après 2 heures d'utilisation la régulation est bien étagé et il ne chauffe pas, satisfait de l'achat

Bin sehr zufrieden mit den Schalter, funktionieren einwandfrei. Aktuell würde ich diese wieder kaufen.

Spedizione velocissima (ricevuto in meno di 24 ore).Il dispositivo funziona correttamente.La potenza del motore da controllare deve essere compresa tra 15W e 100W (indicato sull'etichetta posta sul retro del dispositivo).La regolazione della velocità avviene abbassando la tensione di alimentazione del motore tramite l'inserzione in serie di condensatori di diversa capacità. In questo specifico caso il dispositivo contiene 1 condensatore da 1,5uF ed uno da 2uF.Poiché i valori dei condensatori sono, ovviamente, fissi, le velocità parziali dipendono anche dalle caratteristiche del motore da controllare (diciamo dalla potenza).Nel mio caso il motore è da circa 100W, perciò il regolatore va benissimo.Rispetto ad un regolatore a semiconduttori presenta il vantaggio di non generare correnti armoniche che portano a rumore magnetico anche alle basse velocità. Per contro sono possibili solo 4 velocità e non una regolazione continua.Purtroppo la placca è quadrata, perciò non compatibile con lo standard italiano, così ho smontato il dispositivo, tagliato ed incollato il retro del contenitore ad una normale placca cieca, ovviamente dopo aver effettuato il foro per l'alberino della manopola.In allegato un paio di foto.

Bought this controller in desperation because the fan itself (also Westinghouse) made a gentle but noticeable "humming" noise, especially on the lowest speed setting (even when brand new, and even when not actually turning). Because this device regulates the speed in a different way to the three-speed pull-chain switch, it has managed to silence the hum and allow me to sleep with the fan on! The lowest speed is also a little slower than the slowest setting on the pull-chain switch, so that is an additional bonus.Some reviewers have mentioned the "odd" configuration of the settings (0 - 4 - 3 -2 - 1 instead of 0 - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4). This is actually for a good technical reason - fans, like any machinery, take more effort to *start* moving than to *keep* moving. Going from 0 to 1 might result in the fan "stalling" and not turning at all, which might damage the fan or controller. Forcing the switch to pass through maximum speed, even if only briefly, avoids this.Another reviewer also suggested that, since this switch has four speeds, it's not compatible with three-speed fans. Rest assured that it is, you just set the fan's own switch to maximum speed and this device regulates the power to it.On the downside, it does feel a bit "flimsy" and I don't know how durable it will be, but given how rarely a fan is needed in the UK, I expect it will be fine.
