Excellent bags , I was caught in a storm and they were totally water proof .

These are great, really heavy duty bags, with waterproof seams and solid, lockable buckles on all the straps. There are a ton of buckles so you should be able to attach them pretty firmly to most any bike. I don't have any racks on my bike at all, I just tossed it over the pillion seat and attached it to the usual hardware and it's not in any danger of falling off, nor getting in the way of any moving parts, nor the exhaust.The inside is armoured and padded on all the areas that it might touch your bikes paintwork, so there doesn't seem to be any danger of these damaging anything over time. They are made out of a thick rubbery PU type material and seem seriously rugged, so the armour and padding will keep whatever you put inside them pretty well safe, even in the event of something skipping up off the road. I would happily carry a laptop, tablet or similar in these without any concern. Really though, these are ideal for usual luggage for a tourer or commuter that needs to carry a change of clothes etc. I will use them a fair bit for food shopping, myself.There are a lot of straps so putting them on your bike the first time and figuring out the best configuration can get a little bit confusing, but once you're done it becomes much easier to put them on and off when you need them. I like them a lot, I like the construction, the thickness of the materials and the fact that all the buckles lock. The reflective strips and logo on the side is nice as extra visibility is always welcome and I like the fact that they're versatile enough to just fit on without extra hardware. I can definitely recommend them for any commuter or the casual tourer at least. I'm sure they are up to scratch for even a seasoned tourer to be honest, as they are built like tanks, but not having tested them in such a situation myself I don't want to oversell them. I'd be confident with giving them a serious go at least.

 

Quality seems excellent. Got these instead of the Rhinowalk ones, and super glad I did. Good size, I haven't had a chance to mount them to the bike yet, but don't see any issues. They look great and will fit my needs perfectly.
