Smooth and gold and it comes with so many set screws you can 'renovate' other guitars and save money on small parts. Good deal overall I love the guitar with this on it right now

ストラトタイプのシンクロトレモロユニットは…ビンテージスタイルブリッジだとサドルのイモネジが引っ掛かり手の側部が切れることがあるけどこのブリッジは…サドルのイモネジが出ていないのでとても弾きやすくなりますブリッジミュートの感覚も少し変わりますがとても良い音も変化しますねモダンな音、かっちり感が出る？現代的な音の質感に！ビンテージの音が好きな方にはあまりおすすめしません…サドルを囲うようにブロックがあるユニットなのでチューニングはとても安定方向PRSとかESPとかにこんなタイプのブリッジがありますが高額なので…まずは安価なパーツでお試しなんていかがでしょうか？(笑)私はとても気に入りました！(笑)

Nice upgrade for budget guitars and even mid priced models. Seems sturdy in construction and fairly good quality. Wilkinson is a Korean brand, but this unit is made in China. Wilkinson must be monitoring quality control because these are very consistant. Pop-in arm is much better than similar screw-in designs that tend to loosen up over use.Set up floating with 3 springs, it seems much like a PRS tremolo - fairly low tension makes a gentle vibrato effect very easy.Always make sure the 6 mounting screw holes are the same width as youg guitar. If not, fill the outside most holes. Mount tremolo with 2 innermost screws and carefully use the remaining 4 holes to redrill for proper screw placement. It's not difficult and worth the effort.

I bought this item because it said 'compatible with Squier Classic Vibe... well it's not compatible at all (Classic Vibe 70s).The strings spacing is correct but the mounting holes spacing isn't (spacing is narrower on the CV).... but while the mounting hole spacing is compatible with my old Made in Japan Fender, the string spacing is narrower on this Wilkinson bridge for this 2nd guitar! Not sure what it's compatible with in the end ^^Ended up retaining the original Squier CV bridge plate and transferred the Wilkinson saddles on it (orignal Squier saddles are by far the least quality component of the whole guitar) and mounting this Wilkinson much beefier trem cast... also had to machine a bigger hole on the original trem plate for the new vibrato hole... end result looks great,Wilkinson saddles are much better and the beefier trem cast seems to transfer vibrations much more than before... but it's definitely not plug and play... beware!
