Admittedly I find with these it's hard to tell how effective they are. I do think that it stays in place quite well. It's a little effort to put in at first but then that makes it harder to come off which is what you want. I have seen standard traps fly off other rackets in the middle of play.It will partially come off from time to time but it's easy enough to put back as most of it will already be in place. When that last happened I could hear the difference in the strings, I actually thought a string was gone but it sounded fine when it was back in so I think it's doing more than I thought.

Great for high tension (>57) frames. As it adds ab it more stability and control without expensing string tension. Great buy! It'll come out often for looser strings though, keep in mind.
