Have used these to make a tachometer for my lathe. Using rare earth magnet these are working with over 5mms clearance. Note they are unipolar - only sense one magnetic pole not both.

consiglio l'acquisto, sono arrivati nei tempi previsiti e sono tutti e 5 funzionanti. Li ho usati su Arduino. Per ora nessun problema

I don't think it mentions it in the listing but these boards have a small red LED that lights up when the magnet is close. The sensing surface is on the top side if it's laying flat on the table. The end pins and marked "-" and "s" for ground and signal, the center pin is power. Overall size is about 5/8" x 1 1/4". Wish they came with the three pin header loose in the bag, I needed the pins pointed straight out the back for my application. Easy enough to desolder them and change it.
