Withings Steel HR Sport Multisport Hybrid Smartwatch

This smartwatch appealed to me the moment I laid eyes on it.Can’t remember whether it was from an ad or a site I stumbled upon but the hybrid premise, astounding battery life and customisable strap designs won me over immediately. Receiving the product after the weeks waiting over it while checking any updates for the shipment tracking made it worthwhile.The watch looks smaller than expected, but everything else is delivering as promised. I’ve been using it for three full days without ever taking it out and it has survived the beach waters, the gym and my fast paced life in general. The sleep tracker data checks out fairly well but the heart rate might be a little off (116bpm while I’m comfortably seated with no prior strenuous activities?)There was a little hitch with the connection but after a reset with my paired phone, it’s been working well. The real star is the HealthMate app with all the fix-ins that is the brainchild for the watch. It has a clean interface and it’s much better to use the phone than checking two screens of the phone and watch constantly if you’re resolving to be less tech-reliant.Overall, I’m contented with the watch four days in. The watch displays just enough for the most important stats, the app is clean cut and fun and the whole Withings ecosystem is one to look out and invest in.

Coming from few different "smart" bands/trackers with the most recent being Fitbit Versa, Withings Nokia Steel HR Sport is the best so far for my needs:- Not loaded with unnecessary things like mp3 player- Excellent battery life making it usable as an actual watch- The app on Android is very light (both in design and loading the phone) and informative. I had no issue with syncing.- No look-at-me style. Can easily pass as an ordinary clean looking watch- Has vibrating alarm that actually works- Step counter is not fooled by driving a car- Built-in heart rate counter is accurateI can think of only two down sides:- If I wake up during the night and do something and then sleep back, the watch doesn't know I slept again so in the morning, it would register only short sleep duration.- The watch face doesn't have fluorescent needles and numbers, so you have to press the button to see the time always.

Jag gillar att klockan ser ut som en vanlig klocka och att batteritiden är väldigt lång, cirka en månad. Det jag inte gillar är stegräknaren som missar många steg om man inte svingar med armarna, vilket kan vara svårt när man tex bär kassar, den missar även att mäta pulsen väldigt ofta. En annan sak som är irriterande är att den fungerar dåligt ihop med Withings Health Mate app, klockan och telefonen kan ha väldigt olika uppfattningar. Jag måste sänka betyget till en stjärna eftersom stegräknaren bara verkar räkna antalet gånger man svingar med armen, jag känner mig lurad. Jag kommer aldrig mer köpa en produkt ifrån Withings. Pulsmätningen känns inte heller speciellt pålitligt, en produkt som jag verkligen inte tycker att någon borde köpa. Withings borde ge pengarna tillbaka till oss stackare som köpt denna klocka.

- Design :Cette montre est très belle. Son côté principalement analogique la rend très sobre et chic (encore plus avec le bracelet en cuir optionnel). J'ai un petit poignet, et la taille de la montre me correspond parfaitement ! Je n'ai pas l'air ridicule que je pourrais avoir avec une montre de 46mm de diamètre. Cela renforce le côté chic et non tape-à-l'œil de cet objet.Les aiguilles sont très précises, on regrettera peut être seulement l'absence d'une trotteuse pour l'indication des secondes.- Batterie :La batterie est excellente, en me contentant de regarder l'heure et de naviguer à travers les menus de la montre avec son bouton. J'ai reçu ma montre le 15/10, nous sommes actuellement le 10/11 et je suis toujours à 60% de la batterie en une seule charge ! Je précise que je ne connecte ma montre e Bluetooth pour la synchroniser à mon téléphone qu'une fois par semaine.- Bracelet :Le bracelet d'origine de la montre (en silicone, semblerait-il) est très solide, agréable car "chaud" et doux. Son avantage principal est qu'il résistera à l'eau et à la sueur.Le bracelet optionnel en cuir Camel à l'air de bonne facture, mais est un peu trop épais et rigide à mon goût (sûrement dû à mon petit poignet).- Application :Je la trouve bien construite, fluide et intuitive. Dommage que la montre ne soit pas compatible avec d'autres applications, comme Samsung Health par exemple, que j'utilisais jusqu'alors.Niveau suivi d'activité, compliqué de juger avec ce reconfinement, le podomètre a l'air plutôt précis cependant.Le capteur cardiaque est très bon, même si je n'ai aucune qualification médicale pour appuyer mon avis.- Conclusion :J'adore cette montre et, pour le prix que je l'ai payée (en promotion 150€ avec son bracelet en cuir "offert"), le rapport qualité/prix est tout juste excellent. Petit point très agréable qui prouve l'attention portée au produit : l'expérience "unboxing", comme le diraient nos YouTubers préférés, est très agréable. On sent que le produit a fait l'objet d'attention toute particulière, on sent la vocation premium de ce dernier. Je recommande à 100% !

A watch that doesn't look clunky , it definitely has a elegance not often seen in fitness trackers. It size is perfect for me and not overly large like many of the others. So far tracking has been accurate and the app is easy to use, it works well standalone or with the withings scale. You can connect it to other apps like Strava if you like, but the withings app works well and tracks all the usual metrics. Battery life has been incredible compared to my previous samsung I am few days in and it only dropped 10% of battery life. I like that is covers everything I used in my previous tracker including notifying me of texts and phone calls, all the other things that the samsung could do I never used so this fits my requirement perfectly and I can wear it anywhere without it looking like anything other than an attractive timepiece.
