The Wittner mechanical violin pegs are an amazing product. They were easily installed and provide a simple way to tune and maintain tuning of my violin. I may not be a professional violinist, I am learning and these pegs have greatly assisted my learning by helping me keep my violin in tune.The company website provides Youtube videos and instructions on how to install and tune this product. I will definitely buy another set for my son as he progresses in his violin lessons.

Die Dinger sind ein echter Kracher!!! Sie sollten allerdings vom Geigenbauer verbaut werden, versucht es nicht sebst! Der Einbau ist eine Sache von ein paar Minuten (für Geienbauer). Ich bin von den Dingern sehr begeistert, das Stimmen der der Fiedel geht damit sehr einfach und schnell, kein drücken oder ziehen mehr. Das interne Getriebe arbeitet wie ein Uhrwerk und das elende Gezerre an der Schnecke ist vorbei, ebenso das Feinstimmen am Saitenhalter, bei dem man die Geige jedesmahl am Besten absetzen muß, wenn man sich nicht die Finger brechen will. 5 Sterne für diese wunderbare Idee!!!

Yes they look expensive up front, but the quality is really good.I fully expect to take these out of my beginner instrument and use them in a more premium violin at some point in the future.Fine tuning with the peg tuners is now easier than with the fine tuners at the bridge.I bought a reaming tool with them, in case the peg holes needed widening, but it wasn't necessary to use it.

Ces chevilles sont absolument parfaite; Aucune altération du violon n'est nécessaire, elles permettent même de ne pas abîmer le bois du violon avec la friction des chevilles... il faut scier le bout en prenant bien son temps mais une fois installé c'est un pure bonheur, je ne comprends pas pourquoi ce n'est pas la norme d'utiliser ce genre de chevilles... Si vous êtes débutant acheter sans réfléchir.
