Gives a suttle light to the garden but not over bright but good for the price

This wall light white and colour elpas LED for outdoor works fantastic I must admit, quick and very easy installation I must admit.What I really like that you can control this light from anywhere even while away, thanks too application on your phone.The material is wheatherproof, UV and wind plus snow resistant.What is really awsome that you can even chedule your outdoor lights to turn on every day before you get home, so that you can clearly see your environment and feel safe.Great lighting results I must admit, very simple to use.The quality is really good at all, price is very reasonable.I can easily highly recommend it to anyone.

A smart wall lantern, which connects to your wifi and works with a phone app and alexa, etc, so you can time it and have it glow in lots of different colours.I've got a few issues with it. whilst it does work, well, it's very small in size - Less than six inches high - and made entirely of plastic, so how long it would retain it's looks outdoors is questionable: I'd definitely recommend it only for somewhere semi-outdoors, like a patio It's also got one of my particular bugbears, which is putting branding on what essentially a piece of furniture.The third issue is that current 79.95 pricetag. As the heart of this is obviously just a smartbulb and a lamp fitting, and smartbulbs are about 6 quid now, asking the balance for a plastic casing seems a lot. You could, of course, get a smartbulb plus a much higher quality wall lantern for about half the price of this and it would look so much better for so much longer.To summarize, works well but looks and feels cheap, and in my opinion very overpriced indeed.

This was ordered as I have an old outside lamp that has seen better days and although has been faithful for years, it takes boring to a new level. When taken down, I realise that the reason it was so dim is that the cover had yellowed over the years giving it more of an old gas lamp look.This arrived in its own branded box and looks much like its parent company’s origins and corporate styling - and their prices are only slightly less.With the Wiz Elpas, I could not get a more contrasting light fitting. Already familiar with their bulbs and having used the Wiz app, I did struggle to see the difference between this and a DIY set up with one of their bulbs but before having looked at the product I thought that it is probably the sealing/IP rating. However, this is IP44 (only splashproof/light rain) which is less than many of their other outside lamp models. This is a shame as I really need to be careful with its placement outside, especially with the unpredictable UK weather. It does state 25,000 hours longevity which equates to around 10 years at approx. 7 hours every night… less than the old faithful but much more fun.If you have not used a multicoloured smart bulb before, just about any colour combination is achievable and any brightness once the app is downloaded - and set up is easy once connected to 2.4GHz WiFi. These are not compatible with dimmer switches. There are scene options and Circadian Rhythm option to vary the illumination in conjunction with the daylight/eve natural light. Unsurprisingly, this is slightly less comprehensive than the Philips Hue system.I really like the styling of this albeit fairly plain and in black Aluminium only. It is quite a contemporary look and it looks robust enough to last the 25,000 hours. The fittings are solid and very easy to connect up (although they state that an electrician is recommended for installation). The lamp looks like it is protected by plastic so I only hope that this will not get discoloured over time, but then my last one did and I didn’t notice. The lamp is not replaceable and I assume that the hefty price tag ensures that the circuitry is well protected from the elements compared to the indoor bulbs available.At £79.99 (at time of writing this) I think that it is much more than I would like… a pair at this price would be much more competitive. It is a great lamp however and opens up all sorts of ambient lighting possibilities.
