These worked perfectly for my piercings. I have sensitive ears so being poked by the earring was really annoying and when I lost the original backings, I chose these guys. They hold on better than the actual original backings and I don’t worry about my earring feeling like they are coming loose. I like the silver and gold line so it gives it more of an actual “jewelry” look also.

I really like seeing photos before I purchase something so that’s why I took these photos for you.I purchased a VERY expensive pair of earrings a couple of months back and these specific earring backs were on them. I was so excited that Amazon had a seller that has these ones because they are the BEST!To start with, I really like the container they arrive in because it is perfect for storage (see photo).I put a few earring backs on my hand so that you get more of an idea about the actual size of them.The example I have here for you is on a large stud of 6mm. It may help if I tell you that a 1 carat gem is about 6.5mm so the turquoise top that you see here is close to one carat in size. These backs are good for helping the lobe hold up earrings that are medium-heavy. In fact, the earrings that arrived with these backs attached to them were 1 carat each.These slide on securely. The example shown in the photos here is a stud with a plastic ear wire because I have a metal allergy. The plastic is a very, very tight fit for backings. If you have the same challenge with ear wires that are a bit larger than usual, I can tell you that it helped me get these ones on by spraying a bit of saline solution on them. You could use plain water instead as a lubricant. But if the earrings are zinc, or copper, using water or saline solution may make your ear green. I simply used the saline solution because I have been using it on my new piercings that I did a month ago using those cheap piercing guns here on Amazon.These backings are much easier to hold than those tiny plastic ones. The silicone feels great on the ear.I would say that these are wonderful for helping to hold up medium weight earrings. For heavy earrings, you may possibly want a larger silicone backing. Since I can’t wear heavy earrings, these ones are perfect for me.I hope that this information was helpful for you in your search.🎉
