Utilizzato per potare un fico. La promessa di tagliare rami fino a circa 5 cm di diametro è mantenuta, per non fare troppo sforzo bisogna però trovare una posizione comoda e sufficientemente vicina al ramo, perché i manici vanno notevolmente allargati. Fino ad almeno 3 cm il taglio avviene con il minimo sforzo anche "in punta", però lo devo ancora da provare con legni più duri. I tagli risultanti sono netti e puliti. La qualità costruttiva e dei materiali sembra ottima: ovviamente solo il tempo potrà confermare il giudizio. A differenza di altri acquirenti non lo trovo affatto pesante, e del resto un po' di peso è il prezzo da pagare per avere un attrezzo resistente. Ottimo il rapporto qualità / prezzo, almeno al prezzo che l'ho pagato io con il 30% di sconto.

I have been looking for a good set of compound loppers as we have a lot of dead dry wood and large green branches to take down and cut into smaller sections so they can fit in our green bins. When I saw these in special even with international shipping it was worth it. They easily cut green or dry wood up to about 400mm. They can go even bigger but instruggle to get leverage unless I press one handle against the ground. That's normal unless you are goliath. They were quite stiff at first and it took about 20mins of use for them to loosen up (sign of good quality really). Once going I am cutting up several cubic metres of green matter in half an hour. The extension is great. The quality is great. Even though they have moving parts they still feel sturdy. Grips r a little big and I do get a bit of fatigue in my palms. But I wore gloves and changed my hold and I'm that reduced it. If you are on the smaller side get to a hardware store and test them first. Otherwise im really happy with them. Happy cutting.
