I bought this set as I was looking after my granddaughters for the day and needed ‘stuff’ to try and keep them occupied (and give me an easier day! ) I was impressed with the variety shapes and colours of the beads. I also liked that the set came with all the accessories such as the clips for bracelets and a couple of hairband wires. It also came with the string to make bracelets and necklaces and a few ‘special’ beads which the older one promptly nicked and hid from her sister! There are also letter beads to make up names etc. the girls were 6 and 4 at the time and did need a bit of help particularly tying the clasps and finishing off whatever they had made. Have to say it worked really well, they played with the set for ages and came back to it a couple of times that day.My only criticism is that the hairband wires have very sharp ends and work by sliding on small pink plastic ends which are just push fit so there is a chance of it coming off so you would lose half of your beads and also could be a hazard particularly as children are putting on and taking off their headband quite close to their faces and eyes. It was easy to resolve with a drop of superglue at the start and after it was made glueing the end on the completed band.
