I bought separate rivets. I had to fit 6,4mm to fit speakers in my Renault Clio. The adjustable head works really good. Seat the rivet and adjust the head to finger tight. After 4 heavy compression strokes the rivet was fully seated and the stem popped off. Fully opening the handels and the stem falls on the floor. The tool works great. Great value for money!

I think that a rivet-gun is probably one of those tools that you don’t think you’d need until you’ve gotten one. I didn’t even think I had anything I could do with it. It wasn’t until a neighbor suggested I use rivets on my cargo trailer instead of sheet-metal screws that I decided to get one.In general I think these things are great, but this particular rivet-gun seems well suited for the DIYer. It has everything you need to get started; multiple sizes heads, a bunch of different size rivets, and semi decent instructions.My favorite thing is that the process for crimping the rivet is done in one motion. I had seen the ones that are shaped like a spray-bottle, and I didn’t want to have to pump it multiple times to do the job. This one hasn’t made me do that yet. It’s also nice how all the heads have a place right on the tool so you’ll never have to spend time hunting them down.I’m just getting started with this thing, but not only am I making repairs and doing good looking jobs with it, it’s also easy and fun. The one thing that surprised me the most was how easy it is to remove mistake rivets or old ones. I thought it would be a more involved process, but just drilling them out with the correct diameter drill-bit, leaves everything ready for a new rivet.
