A parte le difficoltà ad aprire la latta. (Ma temo sia un mio problema...) Meglio delle aspettative: pasta profumatissima che per fortuna appena viene distribuita diventa quasi inodore, e durante la lucidatura ne rimane un piacevole sentore. I miei anfibi sono tornati come nuovi. Da usare VERAMENTE con parsimonia.

This is lanolin and wax. It smells like lanolin and wax. There is no “floral scent” that’s lanolin, dummy.This balm is amazing. Will immediately turn thick tough leather soft and pliable while also making it more water resistant. Spread it all over, let it set for a minute, wipe off the excess. This is a miracle product, by the way, for quickly and comfortably breaking in Doc Martens (or Army jump boots!).This is an oil and wax combo and works like one would expect an oil and wax combo to work. It’ll slightly darken your leather - again as you’d expect an oil to darken leather. If you want to water proof with it, you’ll have to apply and reapply very generously until the pours of the leather become saturated and it costs from within the leather. Even then, it works to protect leather from water - not make it water tight.In summary. It does what it is supposed to do probably better than any other leather balm.Reviews that complain about the smell (which is very very mild,btw) or that it (slightly)darkened their leather, or complain that their feet get wet after “waterproofing” with this simply misunderstand how leather balm works.

Really pleased to have found this dubin on Amazon, used to use this on my mountain boots 47 years ago, it did the job then, and it does the job now, for those reviewers who said it's rubbish and won't polish leather, I'd like to say the reason for that is that it's "dubin", not polish, this will waterproof your boots, keeping them in good condition and extending their useful life. An excellent tried, and tested product, thoroughly recommended. Shame I can't give it 20 stars.

Love using this stuff for my leather cleats. They’ve become so water resistant and moist from using it I never have to worry about water or the leather drying out

Got this to waterproof my walking boots. It changed the colour of the boots from really dark green to nearly black, but for me that wasn't an issue. Just be aware that although the dubbin is clear, it may change the colour of the leather. Saying that, it did what I wanted, and that was to make them waterproof. I know because I used them the week before and the leaked a little going through water about 4 inches deep, after dubbin I went through water about 6 inches deep and my feet stayed dry. I've never had wet feet since using this dubbin. A little bit of work putting it on is really worth it In the long run. Oh, it softens the leather too! Highly recommended.
