This is one of those hats that a person finds and can't believe the quality for the price. There are a few features included that are hard to find, a short and downward canted brim keeps the sun out of your eyes and covers your ears but does not get in the way of vision. The rear of the crown is taller than the front, giving a lower profile to the front. I personally like this look better. In many ways, this hat reminds me of a Helikon make with tabs that hold the grommets for the chin strap which means it can be totally removed by simply untying it. There is no adjustability. I wear a size 7 3/4 hat and it fits slightly loose and not uncomfortably tight. Material is a soft rip-stop material 65/35 Polyester cotton blend and all seams are turned inward to prevent fraying. Back stitching is very clean. This applies to the bucket style hat, which does not have the side snaps which would defeat the purpose of this style.I own many boonie and bucket style hats and this one ranks probably in the top five for its comfort, attributes and price.

Love it! Much better quality than expected. Fits nicely and value for money. I’ve not worn it in the rain yet but bought it for protection from the sun.
